Richard Brazzel, MD

"Dr. Z," as he is lovingly known, has been with Comprehensive Women's Health since 2001.  A Rhodes College graduate, he delayed medical school for a year to do research at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.  He completed medical school and his OB-GYN residency at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.

Dr. Brazzel specializes in high- and low-risk obstetric patients, but also has a special interest in caring for women with abnormal Pap smears, pre-conception counseling, contraceptive care, and performing minimally invasive surgery.
